Girly Slumber Party Ideas

Birthday's are a time for celebration! One year older means memories and fun!

I enjoy planning the kids birthdays and watching them smile ear to ear the entire time. It's a day just for them to enjoy themselves and their special day.

This year my daughter, Alexis, is turning 9 and we are having a SLUMBER PARTY!!

She chose zebra print for the theme and I took it from there!!

I got started planning activities. She invited 10 girls to celebrate with. Here's what we did:

* Twister
* Glitter Tattoos
* Apples to Apples Jr
* Word Scramble
* Pin the Lips on Bieber
* Dress up with photo shoot
* DIY Washer Necklaces
* Confetti Balloon Pop
* Movies and Popcorn

Each activity was written on a card and placed in a helium balloon. The girls had to pop the balloon to find out what activity was next.

I purchased small prizes for each activity from the Dollar Tree.

We had to incorporate dinner, snacks and of course the birthday celebration. We also needed breakfast the next day and treats to take home. Here's what we had:

* Individual Pizzas
* Make your own Sundaes
* Birthday Cupcakes
* Create your own Popcorn
* Quick and Easy Breakfast Bar
* Fill your own Candy Goodie Bags

I wanted everything set up to ensure the evening was easy flowing and fun the entire time.

I set up "stations" before the party so that everything was ready to go. This helped make entertaining 11 little girls a lot less stressful!! I made banners and decorations for each station. Here's what they said:

* Pizza Party
* Fun Zone (displaying activities)
* Cold Treats (sundae bar set up)
* Slumberland (movie and popcorn room)
* Now Showing (popcorn table)
* Breakfast Bar (Ready made cereal boxes & donut kabobs)
* Sweet Stop (candy goodie bags)

Lexi's party was a HUGE SUCCESS! I hope your party is just as amazing!! Here's to a fun & fancy DIY SLUMBER PARTY!!
