With the seasons changing I find myself seeking projects to do inside. I brainstorm fun creations for the kids and my family to enjoy all year round and not just holiday or season related.
We have plenty of room in our new house for new decor and many of the walls remain a blank canvas awaiting a new masterpiece created with love and memories built around us.
What better way to turn your house into a home then filling it with hand-crafted artwork made by those who will enjoy it the most, your little family!

Family came to town, all the kids needed their time occupied... So what better way to enjoy company and have everyone leave a piece of them, mounted on the wall for all to see, then these cute painted canvas.. Individually designed by each family member.
My room decor is a combo of Paris, Love and Marilyn Monroe. I turned this blank canvas into artwork for my room. Marilyn Monroe prints modge podged and painted to match the red and black theme. (Photo quality STINKS!)

This next link is not my own, however, it is a great how-to for what I recreated. I wish I had pictures of my own creations but they were given as gifts once I completed this project (before my blogging days!) Crayons on canvas is super easy and fun to create!
The last project was also SUPER easy! 12x12" canvas...edges painted black and 12x12" scrapbook paper modge podged to create simple artwork for ANY room!
